Alexis has lived in several areas of the United States, but calls Texas home. She has worked extensively in the legal field, first as a paralegal and now as an attorney. She has also studied sexual health and education and is excited to find a way to blend these interests together. She was recently an Equality Fellow with Equality Texas, a program that educates and builds the skills needed to support the movement for LGBTQ/GSM people in Texas. She is also a member of the local and national LGBTQ Bar Associations. 
 
Alexis understands the need for accurate, compassionate sexual health education for people of all ages. The law need not be a weapon for censorship, shame, and fear. It can be a powerful tool if we use it justly.
