Betty is a native North Carolinian, but has happily called Austin home since 2017. She is a Teacher for Students with Visual Impairments and Multiple Disabilities at the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. There, she teaches in the career education department and also teaches sex education with the Unhushed curriculum (yay!). She is a huge advocate for disability rights and sex education for all.
