Caleb Gustin is a board-certified emergency nursing professional and sexual health educator currently residing in Seattle, Washington, with their husband. Caleb entered the world of sex ed with encouragement from a nursing professor who researches the lack of sexual health education in future nurses' development and training. Caleb believes experience guides individuals. They incorporate the art of drag and performance, as seen in their character, SisteRNurseJoy, to talk about gender roles, religious upbringing, and queerness in a way that allows great vulnerability, learning, and sometimes a little laughter. Caleb works toward a future of comprehensive sexuality education for all people from birth through advanced age, medical access/universal healthcare for all, and a world where queer people can live fully and joyfully.
